Big News Announced for Matric & intermediate Students 2020

Federal Minister for Education Mr. Shafqat Mahmood has announced that students of 9th and 11th classes will be promoted without any examination this year. He said that students of 10th and 12th classes would be awarded 2% extra marks as students of 10th and 12th classes generally perform well. Only total numbers will be announced and not the result according to the subject.

However, 9th and 11th class students will only be promoted, but they will take 10th and 12th class exams next year. Their 9th and 11th class marks will be given based on his performance in 10th and 12th classes.

In addition, he said that students who have failed in 40% of the subjects will be given grace marks and will be promoted to the next class. A special type of examination will be conducted for students who have failed in 40% of the subjects or the improver or who want to participate in the
examinations. This examination will be taken between September or November.

Shafqat Mahmood further said that the examinations of universities are medical colleges, engineering in them we cannot interfere in them, there are 205 universities, the issue of private schools is sensitive, parents say that if classes are not taking place then why should we pay fees. Schools say that if we don't get the fees, we can't pay salary. Private schools with low fees are having a bad time. There are many schools in Islamabad that charge less than Rs 5,000. They are in a very difficult situation. We have to take care of schools and parents, we do not take such steps to make schools sit, if there was a better education system in the state, there would not be private schools.
