According to Deadline, the 57-year-old film icon is reportedly working with NASA and Elon Musk's SpaceX to create a film shot in outer space. This feature film would be shot in 'Musk's space ship'.

The outlet said the film was in the "early stages of lift-off".

Although Cruz is routinely engaged in risky stunts for the "Mission: Impossible" franchise, the film will not be associated with the films, according to the store.

In previous "Mission: Impossible" episodes, Cruise performed stunning stunts such as hanging on the side of a jet plane and scaling the skyscrapers.
