A Chinese company that makes batteries for electric vehicles has claimed that it has developed a battery that will last for 16 years and cover a distance of 2 million kilometers.
Chinese company Contemporary Ampex Technology (CATL) says they are ready to develop long-lasting batteries. They have developed a battery that can cover a distance of 2 million kilometers, this battery can be used for 16 years.

The company's chairman says that if an electric car maker orders the battery, they can start manufacturing it on an industrial scale.
Keep in mind that most electric car companies currently offer a battery warranty of 60,000 to 1.5 million miles, with a lifespan of three to eight years.
