Leading Pakistani singer Ali Zafar has been appointed by Prime Minister Imran Khan as the Ambassador of Namal Knowledge City.
Ali Zafar tweeted on Twitter: Honored to be nominated ambassador to the first & biggest knowledge city in Pakistan “Namal Knowledge City” envisioned by the honorable Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI designed by @tonyashai. Knowledge is key for the development of a country and its people.
The actor further wrote that knowledge is key for the development of any country and its people.
Ali Zafar further said on his Instagram account that it is very satisfying and thrilling for me that Dr. Kanwal Amin and Prof. Muhammad Zafarullah, who dedicated their lives as experts in education and encouraged us to follow the same path, gave their son a chance.
As an ambassador, he was given the opportunity to play his part in building the first city of its kind, the Namal Knowledge City.
He wrote that a city built in barren land which was envisioned by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
